Depends on your trading style. News you would want an ECN broker, Auto trading you would want a metatrader platform. These platforms allow yo uto link into your PDA.

It all depends on your style and sticking to the regulated brokers. You may want to demo a few accounts first. You may also want to consider getting paid to trade.

You can get the Leading Automated Forex Trading System Here for Free:
Avafx has a forex autotrading service called Avafx Auto Trader, a platform that allows its forex brokerage clients to choose from various trading signals providers and have those signals traded automatically in their live trading account. With a free 30-day demo, decent web-based platform and comprehensive signals performance, the Avafx Auto Trader is a very good broker-based service to look at when comparing autotrading providers. This service does come highly recommended for traders looking to add autotrading to their forex portfolio.

Firstly, the Avafx Auto Trader platform is fairly easy to navigate and start up its 30-day demo. The demo allots an account of $100,000 to trade with. Avafx allows trading on 23 different currency pairs. The performance page is very comprehensive to compare and choose from the hundreds of expert trading signal providers: you can filter the trade signal providers by profit($), max draw down, profit factor, date started, average pip profit, winning percentage, and currency pair. You can also set your maximum number of trades that you wish to be open for your trading account, your lot sizes per signal provider, or maximum stop losses per trade provider. Right away you can pick up to 10 different signal providers, choose pairs and lot sizes, and have the platform take over from there, automatically trading your account with your selected trading signals. Your computer does not need to be on for the signals to be traded in your account, as this service uses a remote server.

Now, to go live with a live autotraded account there are a few rules. Your trading account minimum investment is $1000. Also, Avafx charges you 1 pip commission on each round trip trade on top of their normal spread to use their autotrade system. Seem unfair? Not really. Comparing ZuluTrade to Avafx Auto Trader, Avafx actually comes out on top. Yes, ZuluTrade does not charge a commission, however comparing the best signal providers, Avafx appears to have the best performing signals. Avafx’s performance comparison is actually much more user-friendly than ZuluTrade’s performance page: you can quickly compare important trading system factors like risk adjustment rate (RAR) and profit factor which cannot even be determined on ZuluTrade. Both do provide maximum drawdown for each signal provider, which is one of the most important. But when looking at the RAR, total pips accumulated divided by max draw down, the Avafx providers have a much better RAR than the ZuluTrade signals providers. Is that worth the 1 pip commission per trade? Absolutely. Now, if your trading account is $50,000 or more, you are then a VIP level account which means you will not be charged the 1 pip commission and you will get a better deal on the spreads as well. Another thing to note: Avafx is an approved broker for ZuluTrade. So, if you try out Avafx Auto Trader signals and are not impressed, then it will be very easy to set up a ZuluTrade account using Avafx as your broker.

On the negative side, the Help section and Support Center are not very helpful regarding the Auto Trader. However, the Live chat help was very responsive and they answered most of my questions quickly. There was one question that remains with Auto Trader: there is a very large disclaimer at the bottom of the trading platform about “Hypothetical trading results and performance data”. It is unclear if Avafx Auto Trader signals providers are using live trading accounts or DEMO accounts for their trading performance data. I would think that DEMO trading is likely to be less accurate than live trading performance data. Avafx support did not answer this question directly. Also the Avafx Auto Trader does not have the Margin-call-ometer that ZuluTrade does, which is a very nice feature that explains and guards against account margin calls. However, Avafx’s platform does have some decent features to help clients remain positive and not margin call their accounts.

In writing this review, only a demo account was used to try out the system and platform. Avafx insists that the platform and service are identical whether trading demo or live with them.

Overall the Avafx Auto Trader receives 4 stars and comes highly recommended.

I haven't heard of any. You're probably better off where you are, paying a small commission to keep the spread small.

The spreads are terrible on the cross pairs, 8 and 10 pips. That's a $100 commission.

But really, execution is more important than the spread. If you pay a one pip spread but get 2-10 pips slippage, you're worse off than just paying the 2-pip spread.

I broker through FXDD (through PremiereTrade), and have been having real solid executions, right on the money, with no slippage at all until last Friday's Non-Farm Payroll report, and got ***** for 56 pips from my order on the Euro. But there was some funny business with that report. My Entry Order executed at 8:29 a.m., one minute before the Report. Somebody was front-running, with advance knowledge, and everybody else got *****. How'd you do?

Hi there,

One of the key things a forex trader has to do is make sure their broker is solvent and solid, otherwise, no smart forex trading will make a difference. Two main features on which a forex broker should be judged are:

1. Reliability
2. Leverage

Most online forex brokers have practice or play money accounts that you can use to try them out. I suggest this, not just for practicing your forex trading, but also to get a good feel for the broker. Getting that right is nearly as important as your trades themselves.

Wouldn't it be great to have one broker that does it all?

But a stock broker doesn't have a license to trade commodities, and vice versa.

And wouldn't it be great if you could afford the best in the business, the most advanced technologically, on the cutting edge of online trading?

TerraNova is such a broker. Now you can have your cake and eat it too, and trade anything you wish from one broker, albeit, not from one account. Obviously, the laws cannot be broken. Their subsidiary, or is it parent company, Townsend Electronics, is the one that electronified and digitized the NASDAQ, and I believe they're getting ready to do the American Stock Exchange next.

You'll be amazed at their trading software. I've been using RealTick for over a year, and still haven't learned how to use all of the features.

It's all really incredible. I am just a Day Trader in index futures, and have no association with any of these companies, and have nothing to gain by applauding them; they simply deserve the applause, and you should take the opportunity to check them out.

It all depend on what you want to trade?
Forex you need to find a good ECN broker. For stocks, I am using e-trade.
To trade for ex you need a good trading system. I am using the curencymeter

I LIKE OANDA, I do not like myfxcm.com on fxcm if your margin get to far off they close all your tickets.
With Oanda if that happens, they only close a percentage of them, resulting in partial loss instead of total loss.
Also they have a better PIP spread. Oanda.com is the 1 I like.

If you are a beginner, i suggest you to use Marketiva, which is a very good platform to start trading with and very easy to use.

Marketiva gives you 5$ real to start trading so you don't have to deposit and if you made profit from it you can cash out, this is why it's very good for beginners. Their platform is very easy to use and they have support during trading hours.

To open your account please visit

I would suggest if you can afford the $250 opening deposit that you trade with IBFX. They are a great and honest broker. If you want to open an account for less money I would suggest you open an account with MasterForex. They open accounts instantly online and all countries are welcome there. Minimum deposit is $1 and pip spreads from 2 pips. They give out $100 monthly bonuses for trading a total of 10 lots or more in any given month. This is because unlike other brokers they only make money off the pip spreads so the more you trade the more they make. Then they reward you for being an active trader. The source below tells more about them and provides free trading signals and Forex indicators as well. Good luck.

here is one forex site great for beginners. best reason is their level of personal service. by opening at least a mini account or higher, they will provide you a personal account service manager or asm as mentor & consultant who will walk you through the basics, brief you on all the technical and fundamental analysis widely used by most forex traders, answer all your questions live via phone, email, chat or even personal meeting if available in your area and will even trade with you to make sure you get familiar with their system. the site is also full of learning articles and innovative tools helpful in learning forex trading. all the best.

When you say broker, I believe you mean a Forex account manager. In Forex, the broker is the intermediary who facilitates the currency trade. The Forex account manager is a third-party individual/company that manages the trade activity on your Forex broker account. It is called a Forex managed account.

Finding a legitimate, competent, experienced Forex account manager is not easy. There are a lot of Forex scams out there and so you have to be careful. Also, many of the longtime Forex managers are no longer taking new accounts. Here are some tips for finding a good Forex managed account program.

1) Start by doing research on who is taking new accounts. Google FX managed accounts, or Forex managed accounts, etc and you will find plenty of companies offering this service.

2) Find one that is realistic in their profit targets (If they are shooting for over 50% per month, RUN).

3) Spend at least a couple months researching, talking to, and watching different managers.

4) Don't expect consistent weekly or even monthly returns. Forex is not a bank account that pays out a consistent return. Expect whip-saw returns with profits over six months or a year.

5) Start small and add to your Forex managed account as you gain more confidence in your manager.

Hope that helps and good luck!

i have a tips for u

1. Qualifications. Probably the most important thing of all is ensuring the Forex broker you use has the correct qualifications. Therefore, choose a broker registered with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) as a Futures Commission Merchant (FCM). This means that you have legal protection against any abusive trading practices and scams that may arise.

2. Is the broker regulated? This means that when you sign up to use their services you will have protection and insurance against any internal fraud. Also, your funds will remain separate from the broker's operating funds.

All of them were 7 tips

Forex ECN Broker

ECN is an acronym for Electronic Communications Network. A Forex ECN does not operate a dealing desk but instead provides a marketplace where multiple market makers, banks and traders can enter competing bids and offers into the platform either inside or outside the spread, allowing traders to trade against each other and with multiple counterparties. A trader might open a trade with liquidity provider "A" and close it with liquidity provider "B", or have the trade executed against the bid or offer of another trader. Participants of the ECN send in competing bids and offers into the platform and the combined volume is usually displayed to traders at each price. Orders are matched between counterparties, usually for a small fee.
NDD

An acronym for 'No Dealing Desk'. A no-dealing desk broker uses a matching engine to match up orders between its liquidity providers and their clients. The liquidity providers send in competing bids and offers into the platform, resulting in the best bid and offer being displayed to the trader. A no dealing desk broker may increase the spread instead of charging a commission to their clients.

Without further information about your trading expectations, this could be a difficult one to answer.

For example ....

Do you have a preference for a particular trading platform, such as MetaTrader 4? Or are you happy to take whatever trading platform is provided?

Do you want to be able to trade mini or micro lots (this will depend on how much capital you have to risk)?

Do you wish to use automated forex software, or trade manually?

What country do you live in? This may influence your choice of broker - and you need to be sure they are regulated by a government authority, as some brokers have been known to abscond with a profitable trader's funds.

Providing further information will help us better answer your question.

Hi there,

There are so many broker available in the market but the best one i think would be the one who fulfills all your expectations and criteria. Therefore i would suggest you to pen down your expectations and your criteria for judging brokers and then list the top brokers according to your needs. This would facilitate you to make better judgment and better analysis.

even i did the same and according to me the best suitable according to my trading is Finexo.com.

Regards

hello,
i hope this will help u

Choosing The Right Forex Broker

Anyone wishing to start trading Forex online must do so by opening an account with a trustworthy broker. For new traders, the most popular and logical choice is a mini Forex trading account.

The question is what should you look out for when deciding where to deposit your cash?

Firstly, it is important to find a professional and reputable broker.

Unfortunately there are some platforms out there which are anything but professional and you should be wary of any that look like they have been cobbled together by anyone other than a professional organization.

Secondly, you need to decide the minimum amount you want to deposit. A mini account minimum deposit can range from anything from $50 right up to $250.

A low $50 deposit is a great way for you to start trading and learn the ropes. If you have more cash available then you might want to consider a Pro Account which usually offers better features for around a $1,000 deposit

Check out this site

This information might help you also. The most recent and also most promising Forex trading platform is the Fap Turbo Robot. So far it has shown to be capable of doubling your money every single month. Very few, if any of the earlier systems reach a 95% of profitable trades. Once your program is set up it is totally hands-free and is working for you 24 hours 5 days per week. You can still do manual trades if you would like to.
Some of the advantages are:
You can start with as little as $ 50;
Non stop trading, 24 hours 5 days per week;
You can earn money in an up as well as in a down market;
There is no size limit (trade as big or as small as you want).

I use Interbank FX and GFT. I don't find their spreads to be any better or any worse than anyone else but I appreciate their customer service and user friendliness of their apps.

InterbankFX has another cool feature and that is the ability to use their credit or debit cards in order to quickly access money from your account. One word of caution is that all brokers make it very each to put money in....and many make it extremely difficult or time consuming to get money out. I guess they like that float.

The third reason that I like Interbank FX is that they have actually developed an EA for us that monitors my account balance and automatically closes all my positions and locks in my profits using either a profit target or a trailing stop setup. It is very cool waking up and seeing that you have just made $800 while you were asleep.

Lastly, we have negotiated institutional interest rates with both of these firms that are not available to other retail clients.

I hope this helps.

I am not aware about your proficiency in Java, so my suggestion might not be complete.
You can use Jfreechart to render chart for your application. Its very versatile API and well documented.
To retrieve the data via web you can use Commons http client.
You can check out my java blogs for an example too. The example there uses Google API to validate user login

Hope this helps

BTW:
@ mikerushe
> void main () {
> int ("I don't know");
> }
- Your Java code is absurd as your answer its incorrect in every sense, why did you choose to answer when you dont know?

@Beavis111
Any kid can do this job without charging a dime.

I can give you information that will help you skip over the 12 years learning curve where you would be losing your money over and over again. The stock market is set up on a 90/10 scale. 10% of the people out there make the money and everyone else (90%) donates to them so they can build their houses and buy their cars and property.
I started out in the stock market in the mid 90s and made a lot of mistakes and then I suddenly found out what works and what doesn't. I have learned how to make money in the stock market. He res a synopsis of what doesn't work:
1. Dint try to play the news. The pros on the floor get the news before you do at your laptop online. They have services such as First Call, and other immediate news services. Also the guys on the floor hear the rumors before you do. Basically what this does is the stock already moved before you even got the news, too late.
2. Penny Stocks. You might have heard about someone who made a mint in penny stocks. He bought 10,000 shares at .03 apiece and suddenly the stock jumped to 3 dollars a share and he bought a new car or a house. This is ultra rare. Usually you will buy a penny stock for .07 a share and then it will go down to .03 a share and stay there for a year.
3. You try to do momentum plays. If the stock suddenly shows up on the 'most up' lists for the day you think that you can join up with the momentum and make money too. But by the point YOU see it on the lists, the pros are already starting to sell it. You buy it and the stock starts to drop.
4. Rolling penny stocks? No. Everybody wants to buy at the bottom of the roll, no body wants to sell at the top of the roll.
5. You try to daytrade, fighting the market makers and ***** them out of thier bid and ask spread. Not going to happen. You are up against a professional who makes his living doing this.
6. You learn technical analysis. But this takes about 6 years to master.
7.You try giving your money to a pro...most money managers dont make money during down years. As a matter of fact they can lose quite easily.
8. You can follow stock pics from the Wall Street Journal or IBD but then everyone sees those pics. You would be one of the 90%. Those pics, unless they are forcasts, show stocks that are currently hot. As you see them pros are dumping them.
9. You try to catch a 'falling knife'. A stock drops big because of news so you buy it because you think its cheap. Yeah but there was a reason the stock went down, a fault in the stock itself. So it keeps bleeding after you buy it and then it keeps dropping. Then it gets downgraded and drops more.
10. You tried options. Most people dont know how to do them right and most people lose at options. Heres why. a) you buy an option that expires at a certain time (they all do) and the stock goes down, your option goes down. b) you buy an option and the stock remains at the same price and is flat. The option time erodes and you are left with nothing. c) You buy the option and the stock price soars. You are estatic because the stock price made your option triple. Sell the option? Hell no, it could go up more! So you hold it. The problem with that is they all expire worthless if given enough time. So you hold hoping for even more money then the price goes down. You lose.
12) You move your money around in one big pile. Investing 100% of your money all at one time is a big mistake because that one time when you have a catasrophic loss from one trading mistake is the time you are done. Always have different piles for trading down or up.

Well that is my two bits and I suggest that you follow this if you want to learn and make money. Site I have this from is below.

Microsoft Excel will create candlestick stock graphs.

Click on the chart wizard, then pick "stock" for the chart type, click on the picture of a candlestick chart for the subtype (which Excel calls "Open-High-Low-Close"), then click on next and supply the rest of the requested information.

I am using Microsoft Excel 2002.
